Theses and Dissertation Electronic Submission Process Through the Katie Murrell Library
Once you have successfully defended your theses or dissertation and the content of your theses or dissertation has been approved by your committee, you may begin the process of submitting your final theses or dissertation to the Katie Murrell Library.
To ensure the broad accessibility and long-term preservation of your work, we encourage that you submit a copy of your theses or dissertation to the ProQuest Electronic Theses and Dissertation (ETD) Administrator. In doing so, the theses/dissertation will be accessible online via ProQuest Dissertations & Theses Global: a major commercial database serving as a global catalog of dissertations from thousands of institutions.
This guide was created to help expedite the process and explain options you have during the submission process.
The Katie Murrell Library staff is very proud of you and would like to celebrate your accomplishment by purchases a hard bound copy of your dissertation for inclusion in Archives and Special Collections department. Additionally, the library will cover the cost of publishing your Dissertation or Theses if you choose the Open Access method. The Katie Murrell Library staff would like your scholarship to be freely available to the Lindsey Wilson University community and researchers from all over the world. By choosing the Open Access Publication method current and future generations will have unimpeded access to your work.
Again, Congratulations and do not hesitate to reach out if you have any questions using this guide or the submission process.
Sincerely,
Jason Keinsley
